  1. Sauté vegetables in chicken broth as opposed to butter or oil. Your veggies will come out crisper and this is a healthy alternative to fatty oils.

  8. Slice an avocado directly in the skin to make squares that are easily peeled out.
  9. Place a damp cloth or paper towel under your cutting board when using it to prevent the board from slipping.
  10. Coat your cheese grater with non-stick cooking spray for easy shredding and cleanup.
